Another Practice Trip

We finally had some warm winter weather last weekend so decided to give our little caravan another outing, this time off to Kiama.

SS, Lucy the Log Dog and moi, went for a 2 night stay at Kendalls Beach.What a top spot, walking distance to town and right on the beach.

Other than SS tugging the front window out of Sibyl ( that's what I've decided to call the van, it means witch and if we're the Dementia Demons I thought it was very apt) everything ran very smoothly.

We arrived Saturday arvo and walked down to the blowhole as we'd heard it was blowing so high the spray was going over the cars, as per usual it was the case of you should have been here yesterday!!! We then checked out the small blow hole which really was blowing a beauty, amazing we'd never heard of it.

Saturday night we had gorgeous BBQ ribs and listened to the Doggies win on the radio. I should have taken a photo and turned this into a food blog like half the world's bloggers are doing.

Sunday the Kiama markets were on which are one of the best on the south coast so naturally I over spent, I even bought an overcoat for Lucy the Log Dog. Sunday night off to "Hanoi on Manning" for a top feed. That night a big wind storm hit so we had to put Lucy in the van with us and to our amazement she didn't even snore ( I think she wants to come again)

We awoke to a beautiful Monday morning and did some of the headland walk from Kiama to Gerringong. Fantastic views and definately something that should be added to everyones bucket list.

Next trip, will be in about 5 weeks so check us out then.
